For this part under the Jedha Desert I was responsible for lighting and mood under the guidance of my Art Director, Nate Stephens and Lighting Lead, Matthew Cooke. This area is special for me because the whole reason for me going towards the Art was the dream to create Concept Arts for Star Wars someday. I was probably 16. For this area I knew I wanted to make it look unpleasant and chilling mood with the addition of the cult of this place. Knowing that this is a special, sacred place I transitioned something from our world which was a candle, but I knew that I can do more with this idea so I drew and proposed a concept of a candle-like small light which got approved and made into asset. This is super small thing but the idea that I managed to fulfill the dream from my childhood in such a surprising way is crazy for me.
